Positioning

An Advisory Practice, Not a Search Firm

Animi Cura does not source, recruit or place candidates. We advise the institutions responsible for consequential leadership decisions.

Our role is to bring disciplined psychological and organizational judgment to the evaluation of leadership capacity, behavioural risk, role fit and development potential.

We help decision-makers move beyond credentials, reputation and interview performance toward a more structured understanding of how an individual is likely to lead within a specific institutional context.

When a transformation requires leaders with the capacity to work through ambiguity, resistance and increased complexity.

What We Assess

Leadership Capacity in Context

Leadership cannot be evaluated through personality alone. Assessment considers the interaction between the individual, the role, the institution and the environment in which decisions will be made.

Dimensions Examined

  • Judgment and decision-making
  • Leadership maturity
  • Capacity for complexity
  • Emotional regulation under pressure
  • Interpersonal and political awareness
  • Authority and influence
  • Accountability and ethical orientation
  • Adaptability and learning capacity
  • Conflict and challenge response
  • Relational impact on teams
  • Potential behavioural risks
  • Readiness for the specific mandate

The objective is not to create a generic leadership profile, but to determine what the available evidence means for a particular responsibility and institutional context.

Our Method

A Structured and Independent Process

01

Clarify

Define the decision, governance context, role expectations and questions the assessment must answer.

02

Establish Criteria

Translate the mandate into explicit leadership requirements, behavioural indicators and potential risks.

03

Assess

Use structured interviews, career evidence and appropriate validated assessment methods to examine relevant leadership capabilities.

04

Integrate

Consider the evidence as a whole, including strengths, limitations, contradictions and contextual factors.

05

Advise

Provide a clear, proportionate judgment on readiness, fit, risk and development priorities.

06

Follow Through

Where appropriate, support onboarding, transition planning or targeted leadership development after the decision.

Candidate Respect

Assessment is conducted with professional dignity, transparent boundaries and responsible use of psychological language.

Boundaries

Professional Boundaries

Executive Assessment & Talent Advisory is an independent organizational advisory service. It does not replace:

  • executive search or recruitment;
  • reference or background checks;
  • legal or regulatory due diligence;
  • medical or psychiatric assessment;
  • individual psychotherapy;
  • a formal judicial or forensic assessment;
  • the decision-making authority of the appointing institution.

Animi Cura provides evidence, interpretation and advisory judgment. The client institution retains responsibility for the final appointment, promotion or succession decision.

Where a conflict of role, confidentiality or independence could arise, the mandate will be declined, limited or referred appropriately.

The Most Consequential Leadership Decisions Deserve More Than Intuition

An initial confidential conversation allows us to understand the decision, determine the appropriate assessment scope and establish whether Animi Cura is the right partner for the mandate.
